YOUR GUIDE

Specific to this procedure.

YOUR PLAN

Follow your personal instructions.

YOUR TEAM

Call if something is unclear.

This overview helps you find your way. Read the complete instructions above and follow the personal guidance from your surgical team.

Reduce sinus pressure

The guide requires avoiding nose blowing for at least seven days. If you sneeze, keep your mouth open. Read the full guide for the nasal-care advice given for this procedure.

Protect the site

Avoid disturbing the wound. Follow the 24-hour restriction on mouth rinsing and spitting, then clean gently. Avoid brushing the surgical area and neighboring teeth during the first seven days.

Food and removable teeth

Begin with liquids and purees, then soft foods for the first week. A denture or flipper must not press on the surgical site.

When to call

Report rapid swelling after day three, an opening at the site, drainage, or a bad taste. Follow the antibiotic course and other prescriptions provided.
