Follow your personal instructions.

YOUR TEAM

Call if something is unclear.

This overview helps you find your way. Read the complete instructions above and follow the personal guidance from your surgical team.

Protect the implant area

For the first 24 hours, avoid rinsing or spitting. Then resume brushing with particular gentleness around the implant or healing abutment and begin light rinsing as directed. Avoid vigorous rinsing for 72 hours.

Comfort and activity

Swelling may increase during the first three days. The guide covers ice, elevation, gauze pressure, rest, and restrictions on smoking, straws, carbonated drinks, and heavy activity.

Food and medication

Begin with foods requiring no chewing, then follow the soft-food progression. Follow your prescribed medication plan and read the full guide for nausea or bleeding concerns.
